Welcome to the SCOV Gleaners

SCOV Gleaners is a new club being established in Sun City Oro Valley.

Each week we are invited to the homes of those folks in SCOV who have fruit or other edibles to be picked from their yard.

Our objective:  Avoid waste and share the bountiful harvest we enjoy in SCOV with our community and beyond.

We distribute the harvest in this priority order:

1. the home owner

2. their neighbors and friends

3. the various SCOV facilities (e.g. AFC, Activity Center, Welcome Center, SCOV Library, Catalina Vista, Desert Oasis, The Views Cafe, etc.)

4. the local food banks.
